Tiramisù is without a doubt my absolute best dish. A very dear friend was so gracious as to give away her secret recipe and it has a been a hit every time I have served it. Fast and simple to make but beware you use good espresso coffee and proper chocolate powder! The power of ingredients is the trick to a good dish!
Ingredients
- 1 box of sponge biscuits
- 4 eggs
- 500gr mascarpone
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 3 tablespoons Marsala wine
- good espresso coffee
- good chocolate powder (not Nesquick)
Directions
- Beat egg yolks and sugar well
- Add the Marsala wine (optional)
- Incorporate the Mascarpone and mix
- Whisk egg whites until soft peaks form in separate bowl
